Here are some of the ways Pink Shirt Day advocates have teamed up with us to offer community members the chance to support anti-bullying initiatives by buying local:
Cadence Cycling Studio
Local spin studio Cadence is hosting two classes on Pink Shirt Day. For every participant, $5 will be donated to anti-bullying initiatives. Visit their website to register.
Denny’s turns pink each year by selling Pink Shirt cutouts for $2, in exchange for a 20% off coupon valid for any meal in March. All proceeds are donated to CKNW Kids’ Fund and Pink Shirt Day.
Everyone loves cupcakes, and the pink Take Five cupcakes are no except. Part proceeds, of course, are donated to Pink Shirt Day!
On February 28, staff at Fresh Cup Roastery will donate 100% of customer tips to Pink Shirt Day – and match them (up to $500)!
I AM SOMEONE
Can't make it to the Pink Shirt Day rally in downtown Vancouver? Stop by Coquitlam Central Station, Port Coquitlam Station or Port Moody Station on February 28th. I Am Someone will be selling buttons for donation and bringing Pink Shirt Day to the Tri-Cities area!
